Rent rates in Metro Vancouver have generally declined, with one-bedroom units averaging $2,086, down 8.31% from last year, and two-bedroom units at $2,696, down 5.3%. Three-bedroom units also fell by 4.04% to $3,513. However, rents increased in Surrey and New Westminster, especially for two-bedroom Surrey units and three-bedroom New Westminster units. West Point Grey/UBC remains the most expensive rental area.
