On May 14, 2026, the Vancouver Art Gallery welcomes Future Geographies: Art in the Century of Climate Change, a major contemporary art exhibition running through January 10, 2027. Featuring more than 35 works by international and British Columbia-based artists, the exhibition examines how climate change and sustainability are reshaping the way we understand our world.
For Vancouver residents, the exhibition offers an opportunity to connect global environmental challenges with the places we live, work and build community. The artworks invite visitors to consider changing landscapes, responsible resource use and the role each of us can play in creating more resilient neighbourhoods.
As a local real estate professional, I’m especially interested in conversations about how sustainability influences the future of our homes and communities. A gallery visit can spark fresh ideas about thoughtful design, adaptation and the shared responsibility of caring for the places we call home.
Mark your calendar for May 14 and plan your visit to the Vancouver Art Gallery. Learn more at https://www.vanartgallery.bc.ca/exhibitions/future-geographies/ and share this event with someone who cares about art, Vancouver and a more sustainable future.
